Hi all,
Only recently noticed this...
When i put my foot down in the Corsa (1.4 8v SRi) i occasionally get what can only be described as a metallic tapping/ticking noise.
I have worked out it must be something to do with the throttle. I have put WD40 on the area where the throttle cable connects to the engine (springy bits - im not mechanical !) but it still does it.
Seems to like doing it when my foot is flat to the floor (5th at 60mph) or say in lower gears at low speeds (4th at 30mph).
Like i said, only does it occasionally but it's really annoying,
Anybody know how to solve it ?
