Had problems with pinking and misfiring, got a new air mass meter and it was solved.

apart from now i get sort of the same thing, like it's not on all cylinders for 2-3 secs, or like the brakes are on slowing it down. then it stops and it's normal again. usually happens when the revs are constant, like cruising at 60/70.

its a 1.0 12v and i have no engine mods.

Mine had exactly the same problem. I chaged the HT leads this morning and now its fine

Mine must be fucked on the Astra then, because they look like they've seen better days (engine has done 81k so not surprising really).

Might phone up Vauxhall tomorrow and amuse myself with the price of 4x new leads!
