Air mass meter is located on the air intake pipe. Will be a plug going to the sensor.

Have you been noticing when changing gear sometimes that the car jerks, the revs go down and then shoots back up for no apparent reason while accelerating?

I cleaned out the dizzy cap and scratched up the connectors, gonna try changing the ht leads tomorrow. if its the air mass meter, can it be fixed or do i pay the scrappies or vaux a visit. yeah its really jumpy when changing gear, expecially in second, when you floor it it feels like the engine is about to die!
