that means you keep or ir original gear stick? and its just a linkage on the gearbox?

Correct, just a linkage.

But I'd be tempted for a complete B&M shifter if they did them.

they do but not for the engine thats in the car now (1.2 8v) do them for cally and cavs. so wen i get the bigger engine in i may gat a B&M kit look real nice

isnt b+m car specific not engine and box specific... the whole mechanism in the car probably wouldnt transfer over
