Hey folks,
Took off the SFi box or whatever it was so I could offer up the v-tuning inlet to the engine and see what I'm dealing with.


The screws circled in the photo look like they are going to be a bastard to remove, what did everyone else use to remove these?
I'm assuming these have to be removed as I was supplied with 4 new screws with the inlet...
May seem trivial but I'd rather be sure what I'm doing before I bodge something to a high degree.

I've never done this before, but have you tried removing the 4 bolts behind and trying to remove the circled bolts from the back ?

nupe, we've tried fitting a couple of nuts onto the bolts hoping it would turn the bolts instead of the nuts.
if that makes any sort of sense

use two nuts and screw them against each other rather tight and then unscrew the bottom one it should take out the stud with it !

Hammer the threads so it snaps off, leaving some of the thread in the throttle body.

i had to use this method as i robbed some inlet and exhaust manifold nuts off my old head
