Got a duff aletenator at the mo, getting sorted on friday, had to bump car off today to pick a mate up and the engine was shocking, foot to the floor and would just die, then change gear and it kinda cured it, just wondering if the 2 could be connnected

it will effect the car and will eventualy stop running you need power to get the spark from the plugs also the many sensors on a modern engine and ecu will become confused.

had it tested, but was in a situation where i couldnt wait another day for a part to arrive

all the alternator does is charge the battery so the car should will fine untill the battery runs out of juice then it will stop

yea, but u won't go far without a charging battery.

so u really need the alt.
