Need a special program to caputre video screenshots eg

you use alt+print screen and it will capture the active window...otherwise like when capturing media playerit will appear black

That wont work mate, try it urself on Windows Media player, returns a black screen. Alt + Print Scr like you said is just for returning active window, not a video capture.
