Some days ago i created a post about what my parents had bought me as an 18th birthday present. These where the lexus style rear lights and new front lights with the blue round thingy

I was unsure at first how the lexus lights would look.I know its not a "mainstream mod" and maybe it looks tacky and cheap to some if most people. To be honest i'm not really bothered as they cost me nothing and i hurt my bleeding back trying to get to them bastard nuts!

Heres some pictures...

yesh but be careful there aint a white stripe beneath it, this tends to be wot happens.. just peal the strip off a bit, if it loks faded/white stripe then re-stick it otheriwse it'll look gash

Just been talking to a car nut on msn.Hes an old college friend.

This is wot "he" rekons i should do.

"firstly i wouldnt have little alloys on it, id put a sext pair or 17" gunmetal RSGT's on it with low profile tyres, then i would probarbly put either an aggressor kit on it or maybe the corsa wide arch kit, then it would be a custom exhaust system with the exhausts pointing out to the side rather than the back, bomex mirrors rather than scally m3's, de handle, de lock, then worry about the ice l8a"

"maybe a metal flake respray or illusion paint, grade 3 black tints, angel eyes, custom rear lights, lowetred 40mm all round"

"wont cost that much"

"£500 - alloys
£400 - kit
paint for free
i know a mechanic that could do the custom exhaust system"

is he talking bollocks here or wot?

you wont get 17" alloys for 500 quid unless they are proper shite

Angle eyes are poor never fit very well, just get an irmscher front bumper, or a gsi kit keep it subtle, say 15`s on 60mm drop big 17`s look poor like ur cars on stilts unless you hava a mass kit

And yes 60mm on 15's is the way, just fittin 15's on standard suspension makes a dramatic improvement

I like them rear clusters you got. Does anyone know how much they are and do you have to mess about with the rear lights to get em to fit?
