ok, i wanna spray the rest of my interior silver like the centre bit in the middle, but i need to know what paintcode it is or what shade of silver to get.

its a 52 reg Corsa C SXi i know Red_SXI has done it to the cover of his MFD.

i thought about doing the steering column the, cover and then maybe the handles on the doors.

no probs mate!!!
1. remove heater vents
2. remove 4 screws from inside
3. pull! its a bit stiff and will sound like youve broken it but u havnt!
4. 2 screws holding top part on
5. slides out very easily. I removed the MFD, just a few clips so i was left with just the exterior part.
6. pull out stereo facia
7. remove trim from heater nobs, clips top & bottom but go east with a screwdriver and its easy!

Sand everything smooth, 240, 320, 600 grit papers.
Dont use 240 & 320 on already painted surfaces! just the bare plastic.

Use plastic primer on bare plastic, 2 coats, 30 mins between each, use hairdryer if your impatient like me!

then give everything 3 coats of base colour and leave to dry, 1-2 hours.

800 everything then 3 coats of lacquer, dont let this run or you'll have to start again!!!!

with the botom panel i masked off the black part and just did the edges.

There is info & pics on dismanteling the dash in the tut section under LED's mate
Any more questions just u2u me.

Ok.......

I sprayed the MFD surround, heater surround and double DIN fascia adaptor, but didn't spray the surround for the heater controls. The paint i used was Vauxhall Astro Silver, and i didnt lacquer it. By not lacquering it it keeps the "alu" look rather than a shiny painted look
