ive had an ipad, 3gs and 4 and had no problems with home buttons at all.
my mates a joiner and his 3g got a proper battering and the home button didnt fail.
home button = internet hype.

Home button on my 3G died, died on my last 4 and it's going on my current 4. Would hazard a guess it would have gone on my iPhone too if I hadn't turned it into a pile of broken glass.

My home button, always fucks up on my phone, does my head in, sorts itself after a few days.
Happens every 2 months or so, random as hell.

So they've stretched the display to full screen and allowed multiple iPad's to connect.
I think that might just happen in the near future.

I think if they're going down that route they will create their own 'uber HD' name as its technically higher res than HD like they did with the iPhone screen(Retina) like 'UD' (Ultra definition).
They're about 5 years too late with the 'HD' name.

Uber HD already has a name though. It's called 4K.
Of course, 4K only refers to resolution where as HD, originally any way, covered a larger extend.
Not that any of that will shy Apple away from "inventing" their own standard...
