Not many big updates for now, Just trying to tie up all the little bits before the engine goes in the bay.

Updates
Airflow meter fitted to my air box instead of the pipe




And my thermostat all cleaned up an painted with new switches fitted

Should be a big update this weekend, Engine goes back in the bay. Then its gettin stripped to fit new head. Had it all cleaned up, Pressure tested and skimmed ready to be fitted.

Defo been a while

Cant wait to get it back in, Even if its not runnung this weekend atleast it will look the part

Fingers x'd all goes well and i get it fired up. Will take a vid of us trying to start it and of course loads of pics

I know exactly how you felt bud, I'm like that the now knowing its actually going back in after all that time. Didn't think i would ever get it to be as clean looking as it is now.

Time for just a small update before the all the work starts

Forgot all about the rear engine mount till i found it on thursday, So popped up to see a guy and he managed to get it shot blasted for me the same day

Gave it a coat of paint and now it looks much better

And finally got the last of the bits i need(I hope )

That mount/gear linkage has come up mint! You getting some new bushes for it?

I love mine,really stiff.

TODAYS UPDATE

Finally the engine is back home in the bay, Got the engine of the stand onto the crane then started putting the fly wheel,clutch and gearbox back on (no pics, got over excited putting it back together)

No more talking, Here's the pics

Then started stripping it ready for the new head to go on, Will be back together the mora.

Pretty much everything is either brand new or been refurb'd. Should have the engine fully built up by the mora and could even try have it running by monday, Need to get a few wee bits first. Will send the wife to get me a new exhaust on monday

The whole car will be liquid yellow mate, Yep its blue the now. Well its Blue, Black, Yellow, White and Purple
