Dunno ive i said this allready, but after a practice session, soak your fingers in warm water, as warm as you can comfortably stand. This will help make the skin tougher.

OK, I need help 
The Oasis book I have tells me the chords I need but doesn't give me the info on how many strums are needed

Went christmas shopping last night at Meadowhall & ended up just spending loads on myself
Bought an really basic entry level electric guitar with an amp. Acoustics are harder to play, had a go on a mates electric one last week & it's much easier
Got the rest of the day off so Im going to have a blast on it now

i learned wonderwall the other week, been jamming with a girl i met off myspace, sad i know but its pretty cool to have someone to play with, you need a capo!
struggling for songs to play and learn aswell, any suggestions, need some quite guitary drummy songs, its hard when shes indie and im well kinda emo without the dress sense

Exactly I play 3 down strums on the Em7 but the rest the same
your best bet is to listen to it.

If your struggling with this.
Try a band called Jimmy eat world. Got some real good tunes to strum along to and fairly simple. I learnt guitar playing their's and oasis' songs.
