Surely I'd be having a pop at Everton if it was due to us losing today?

No, you tried to deflect attention away from Arsenal's shit showing by mentioning Hillsborough.

They are one point off your best points tally in four seasons, and dare I say it they'll be closer to winning the title than Arsenal have in a long time if they keep it up.
The difference is, they have Gerrard. Obviously the likes of Suarez and Sturridge are vital, but they have the drive, the fucking bottle in midfield pushing them onwards. Arsenal don't. You've not had that since you last challenged.

Yet they might "only" get CL after all that. And it's worth nothing according to most. Well...when we get it that is.

Liverpool declined massively and were loitering just above mid table for years. But now Rodgers has them playing the right way with youth, pace and attractive football.
Wenger spent an absolute fortune on one player, and got rid of lots. Now that's biting him in the arse and I'm almost certain it has done for years and years? Any injuries to your key men and watch the dropped points add up. You may end up losing out on CL altogether; but I don't think it'll happen. Everton have difficult ties coming up.
You'll get fourth, and have to qualify yet again.

4th and then having to qualify doesn't seem an issue tbh.

Depends who you get really.
The fact is, Arsenal were doing well until you started to get the usual injuries. Because there is no strength in depth it royally fucks your season.
AW either needs to invest in some decent talent for cover, or a new physio because he must be drunk when working with Wilshere.

Supposedly AW is going to be reviewing training methods and the medical team in close season.

Incidentally Richard Keys actually posted a bit of an apology on his blog and admitted he was wrong about Rodgers and the whole "king Kenny" thing

So after countless years of a two week injury turning into a season long injury, he's realised something might be wrong. Definitely deserves a new contract then

I'm surprised Diaby hasn't sued them yet.
Btw, I would actually like to see Arsenal challenging. If Liverpool can follow this season with more of the same next, we could be in for an excellent campaign.

I don't think they will challenge properly with Wenger in charge, and if its not Wenger's fault then its whoever decides the transfers. The money is there now (as orobob points out most weeks) so there's no reason they can't put themselves into a position where they can win the league. So there's got to be something or someone stopping them. We all like to blame Wenger, but surely hes astute enough to realise this fact. Must be something else. If not. Then unfortunately he has to go

Ben - Like Arsenal and Newcastle not winning a trophy it has comedy value, on another note it would mean as well as ***** we get PLC as well!

I do agree with Eck though ^

Decent result for us. Can see Arsenal finishing 5th at this rate. No United or Arsenal in CL be a bit weird!

I just find it very hard to believe when fans of other clubs say they should shut up when they know full well had it been thier club or family you'd be fighting tooth and nail to defend them.
fair play Jonny, an actually spot on post about the situation from a neutrals POV. That said, the sooner the inquest is over and justive or truth or whatever is found the better. Then they can stop banging on about it! [/]sarcasm.

I think mix it up, Kallstrom, Ramsey, Ox, Rosicky, Cazorla and Poldi... yes Poldi doesnt hold the ball up etc etc but right now Giroud isnt doing anything :\ Great to see Flamini give the ball away then get a needless booking to rule out yet another player for 2 games
