How do you start the addons ?
I installed them, is it just a matter of finding the locations on the map ?

Yeah. All the add on quests are installed, just make one an active quest and follow the map.

how do you find out what level Karma you have?
I keep getting told i have lostkarma but cannot see the total anywhere

The game keeps a numerical value for karma but you can only see it if you do console hax0r stuff on the PC version.
Very Evil: -1000 to -750
Evil: -749 to -250
Neutral: -249 to +249
Good: +250 to +749
Very Good: +750 to +100
Otherwise in one of the pip boy screens you will see a representation of your character ranging from a devil through to a jesus type representation.

Couple of things I'm determined to do at the moment:
100 Terminal hacks and kill the remaining 4 Behemoths (Got the one outside GNR)
Now I finally know the formula for hacking (Thanks to my mate explaining it!  ) I've hacked 10 terminals. Problem being that across the game I must be locked out of loads! If I get the computer whiz perk you get one more try, I don't know if it will work on the locked ones and you need more than one attempt anyway to see which letters you need
As for the Behemoths, I have a few mini nukes but no Fat Man, can't find one anywhere

Marc exit the terminal before you are about to get locked out and just go back in again. The number of lockouts resets.

Took me ages, I was just trying to find a word that linked to the location! Then my mate explained it was a random word then whichever ever you picked you found the next word that had letters in same place. Pen and paper comes in handy, as does saving at the terminal!

20 terminals hacked now, only 30 more to do. Thought it was 100, glad its not!
some of the easier ones are tricker than the average and hard ones!

Still annoyed at not getting the Enclave Bobblehead, my mate keeps bringing it up as hes just started again, I'm not playing a 3rd time!

Im loving this game, nearly at level 8 But i can kill super mutants quite handily now!
Without doubt one of, if not the best game ive ever played! Am loving it
