Thanks guys Makes all the hard work worth while! Not much left now, tomo when i get back from work i just got to wire a live to the ecu, run a long wire for rev counter and we should be good to go

Haha no its not that hard just soooo time consuming and wasnt sure whats the best way to go about it! Now i have to wait for it to dry up so i can paint it And my fingers are dead!

Well tonight i finally had it all running! Runs fairly well but found a little problem! I came home to try it (as a friend came round and sorted ignition live wire) and my key got stuck and i couldnt get it out! Finally got it out and it was turning over fine just not started! Miffft for ageeessss! Finally found there was no power getting to most of the fuses in the fuse box! Turns out a little pin in my ignition barrel bit that flicks the ignition live on had broken! Hence not giving fuse box power and no power to my ignition live wire! So now got to order one of them! Going away tomo for a week so should hopefully finally 3rd time lucky have it sorted next week

Am i being stupid but, wouldnt you have phoned around BEFORE actually putting an engine in your car that you now cant afford to insure. Lol normally that gives an indication into wether or not its worth doing the conversion.

No because i will just get a daily if i cant afford to insure it! I never really tried and got a quote for 4500 so i think i should be able to bring that down!

Xe corsa is insurance group 19, perhaps enquiring before you built it would have been an idea. Fingers crossed you find something. Try fitting an alarm that might help
