Did Point Lookout then Mothership Zeta. Much prefer PL as MZ seemed to be the same shit over and over again. Stacked loads of points in energy weapons though so I'm pewpewlazoring everything.

Done all the quests from the main game now, just leaving the DLC quests.

I hated Reilly's Rangers and Agatha's Song, the latter been my worst experience yet

is agathas song the one where you get that old bitches violin? if so done that one you get a nice magnum for your efforts

Yep, just got that. I had to go to Springvale to get the sheet music as I got the book from Vault 92 then got killed so my save didnt have the book on me

Getting a lot of caps at the moment.

I gave Reilly 106 Pip-Boy locations for 3185 caps, 248 caps for 48 fingers and just sold some pre war books and holotags. Have 5000 caps now.

I also have a stupid amount of ammo at the moment, a far cry from when I first started and was struggling. 1073 5mm rounds and 200 of pretty much everything else

Most of the time, I only use my plasma blaster so ammo isn't an issue.

I got it yesterday on pc.

Loved it on ps3 and it was £10.99 posted Game of the year edition with all the addons.

Is one of the best games of all time I think.


Was pretty lucky, first time in the wasteland I had a fight with a deathclaw but brotherhood rejects helped me out and so I got an assualt rifle and flamer and deathclaw hand for later !

I've got Protecting The Water Way on the go now, All you need to do is kill 3 rebels at Wilhelms Wharf. Just looked at the reward:

100XP
Enclave Power Armour & Helmet
Gatling Laser
Plasma Pistol
20 Electrons
16 Energy Cells

I've already been given a laser rifle at the start too.

Ive started playing this, seems very good so far. But struggling to amass caps and ammo as well as weapons able to kill things. Sure itll get easier though

Also, pick up EVERYTHING you come across. You can sell it to Moira Brown at Megaton/Underworld, or Mrs Lancastor/Michael Masters at Tenpenny Tower. There are also traders that appear outside Megaton, Rivet City and Canterbury Commons. Everything you pick up can be sold.

When you kill someone, loot them. Take their clothes, guns, everything. This will get you ammo and occasionally a few caps. Clothes can be sold or worn if they are better than what you already have.

Or you can do what I did, use a save editor to give yaself 20,000 caps right at the beginning of the game
