Update:
I'm afraid there's not been much happening with the car due to few recent holidays and job change occupying my time. The car had a recent service to keep the books stamped up. It's booked into have the front bumper re-resprayed due to stone chips but until then, I invested in a clay kit and gave the car a full job with polish and wax. Even though I'm unbelievably OCD with the cars cleanliness, its mad how much crap the clay brought off. Anyway here are the results:

So being an avid fan of Meguiars, I decided to enter into the 10th year anniversary competition where they picked 10 cars to have a day at HQ, free stuff and a photo shoot and what do you know, they picked my LCR! So so chuffed and can't wait for the day.
Here's the link to the 10 winners: http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.243644345658402.58897.137752586247579

Update:
In preparation for the Meguiars day, I have done a few extra bits to the car this weekend. Firstly, the Brembo's were in desperate need of a refurb so I tackled that:
Before:
![](http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj82/pescaglini/P1000651.jpg)
I chipped away the loose laquer with a chisel then used some industrial wipes and flatted them back just to help key the laquer:
![](http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj82/pescaglini/P1000653.jpg)
Then gave them a good 3-4 coats and was surprised at the results:
![](http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj82/pescaglini/P1000656.jpg)
![](http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj82/pescaglini/P1000658.jpg)
Then left for 24 hours. Very happy and a big improvement for little cost or effort:
![](http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj82/pescaglini/P1000667.jpg)
![](http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj82/pescaglini/P1000671.jpg)
I also wrapped the rear badges to match the front. Love dark badges!

![](http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj82/pescaglini/P1000674.jpg)
and finally....
