I agree, who actually gives a shit if it's been written off and put back on the road. Looks like it's been repaired to a good standard and is probably as good as the day it left the factory.

Current favourite wheels to get for the golf. Already sourced the 19" tyres in michelins for £39ea. I think they would look good.

Very similar but I think they are better looking. Shape of the spokes looks better on the rs4 wheels in my opinion, also the spacing.

Cool. I'm probably going to go for the Audi 19s next month. Got some hours to work tonight and tomorrow night but need to save that pay for holiday money as I'm going away in a couple of weeks for 10 days.

Unsure to buy wheels or get it remapped. The current tyres on the 18s are only 2 months old so perhaps a bit pointless.

£39 for Michelin? Are they 10 year old cracked tyres?

Might be a set of Eco contacts, they aren't exactly a 'premium' tyre..

I'd have any variety of Michelin over any other brand for £39.

Quite a saving

https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres-235-35-19/?m%5B4%5D=on&orderby=prix

That makes my 255 55 18 worth about £15

Out of interest Nic can you get me a set of 225 55 17 XL 101 I think? Best currently is £140 the four for Linglongtingtongs

Whitter, are those wheels the other option wheels for the R? I always thought the crap ones that Nic has and every other golf has were the better choice and that's why they all have them, those you posted are so much nicer.

will be Anne, Anne is a lovely lady.

I don't work for that company anymore so I couldn't say. Decided to leave the tyre business. Last I knew before I left it was August I think.

They are Michelin pilot sport 4 I have got in 235/35/19 they are dot coded March this year just to clear that up. Just need wheels for them now
