Think this will have to be my new work machine.

"Now, if you're sitting here using your Mac and your phone buzzes with a new message, you can just respond on your Mac."

There's been a fair amount of issues with iMessage; certainly a friend of my complained about it not syncing properly between devices but this was the Beta.

I've yet to see anything that's causing me to reach for my card and get purchasing though

I like the iCloud Safari tabs, always use my phone to browse and want to open it up on my computer; shame it'll only work on Macs though. Been using Evernote and a bookmark to overcome it though.

Was hoping there would be something new in iOS but so far it seems like they're playing catch-up with features that already exist in other OS's.

The accessibility 'stuff' is kind of cool though

Not sure; a little bit of Apple's apparent innovation perhaps, rather than doing the usual and nabbing ideas off others (like sync'd tabs on Android/Chrome, DND etc).
Don't get me wrong, it looks slick and they really needed some of these features to keep them running with the rest but there's nothing new there.

Passbook does look good however but i'll hold judgement until i see it running, although wondering if it'll be US only on release? Also be interesting to see what happens to Paypal/Square and other similar apps.

I think id be interested trying the beta.
I seem to recall a few people here have loaded the beta on.

IIRC in the early days, if you ran a non legit beta, they're blocked your account / stopped you from updating is that still the case

New maps app looks super smooth. Wonder if turn-by-turn will work internationally or only in the US...

No iOS 6 on original iPad, but on the 3GS. Strange and gay IMO...

TomTom are providing some data for the maps app - they haven't said what data but you'd guess it was something to do with traffic and turn by turn directions?
