me and my mate fitted the rear suspension today, took ages as we had to modify a few bits

but got there in the end, took the car to get tracked up as the front coilovers knocked it out quite abit, but they turned me away saying there was something major wrong :S i explained it happends when you lower the front but he wasnt having non of it, so brought it back home and adjusted it by eye, looks/drives alot better, and taking it back somewhere tomorrow to be done..

looks loads better

just going to take it to get the tracking done now, will get some pics

4 things left before pvs:

smoked indicators
wheels
custom rear springs
straight through middle section (clearance reasons)

and also got to change the thermostat and do a water/coolant flush

just got back after driving round to about 8 garages, a few of them just said sorry our stuff wont fit under that arch etc, some tried and it didnt fit, went to a place where i took my silver one before and it fit, he had a look and it was only out 2mm, he said that looks fine, was chuffed saying we only did it by eye last night, and he didnt charge etc..

while driving about though the rear suspension is knocking/banging, down to the rubbers etc in the topmounts (my mate built them up) thats my excuse lol, so i need to take them all off again and sort it out, was going to do it just but the weather has gone abit crappy..

not having much look with lowering this one, but sure it will be fine in the end, i will try and get pics asap

going to try and pop to my mums now and get the camera for some pics..

jay i had to just use of the vauxhall rubbers etc off the standard stuff as it fitted better, also had to cut down a few things etc, got there in the end

but now the fronts are knocking :S i really aint a clue whats going on tbh, fitted quite a few sets of suspension for friends and myself for a few years now but never had this much hassel from them

smooth ride, slighty bumpy/bouncy, but hit a very small bump and a bang comes from the front end, its lowish im thinking the track rod my be hitting..

just want to say ive spent all morning sorting the fronts out, put the orginal bumpstop from standard shocks in, and another rubber spacer in place in the top mount and its sorted it, no knocks etc at all, little harsh ride but cant grumble at all..

come across another problem now though, my steering wheel is out, ie im driving straight and the steering wheel is like im turning right :S

got some pics from today, will be posting them up later

not much has changed as yet obviously just abit lower..

then just got to keep an eye out for some cesaros..
