The only car i regret selling was my omega

But 3.0V6 and a heavy foot means i was paying about a third of the uks fuel tax

Yeah wish i had kept my old corsa, purely cus it would have made a brillaint base car for a let/xe conversion.
Was right bottom of the range so wouldn't mind stripping it, and all the body work was rust free and in reasonable condition..

First car was a 106. Don't regret selling it as it was a bit of a shed really. Wish i had of run the Saxo i bought new into the ground and still had it today. Would have been minted now
Best car by far i've had was my little Corsa Miss it so much everyday. If i could reverse the deal i done for the pug i'd have it back tomorrow.

Yes.
I wish I'd had the head skimmed for £30 instead of spending £1300 on a shitty Nova, or spent the £1300 on an engine rebuild.

Everyday, wiah i still had it, and knowing i wouldnt find another in the same condition, mileage etc

If i still had it, it would be lowered, stripped out, possably speedlines and a gsi kit on it, with possably a 2.0 in it

Had 2 Black Corsa SRi's before my green one, wouldn't class them as proper first cars as they where both projects that where never gonna make the road , learnt alot with them and I lost alot of money on both, I miss my first one, it was a right shitter but what I bought it as was awesome, fully colour coded and slammed to the floor on astra alloys, handling was brilliant. 2nd one I am glad to see the back of, hated it with a passion.
I would class My Green One as my first car as its the first one Ive driven, its low mileage and a rare colour which isn't to everyone tastes but I love it and still have tons of plans for it.

dont slate it til you try it, i love mine, bit of exhaust work and she sounds glorious. floor it and i lowered and she holds corners and maintains speeds better than many standard car set ups. its a great excuse to rag the valves off her and in doing so safe in the worry i'll only reach 80mph and wont upset Mr Plod too much (would hate to do the same in a 1.6 ~100+!)
fuel economy for me has always been better than 45mpg, i've pushed her to 50+ even with my mods. insurance grp 2 = cheaper insurance.
apart from the lack of power, only really noticed in hard acceleration (ie Santa Pod) and at 80+ speeds
my first didnt last long (see project in sig) and was quickly replaced with the same i know i will be sorry to let her go but i've spent too much on her and need to recoop (sp) those costs so i'm selling now with the intention to get something just as fun to drive, as enjoyable to listen to and look at but with some power that wont leave me eating dust!

i've used to drive my mum's 12V and i don't miss it in the slightest, but then again, it wasn't my car
