I understand what yor feeling fella, i've been there myself doing silly speeds and getting caught, but, i will say it has slowed me down "a little" but its certainly has made me more aware of whats going on around.

Just apply that knowledge for next time. It may hurt you for a while, but its not the end of the world and u'll get by.

Another saying.

normally the door to your cell closes and then the one to the exercise yard opens if you keep doing stupid speeds

but how many were doing stupid speeds in a 30 zone?

Doing 80 odd on the motorway is alot different than doing 60+ in a 30!

And I would put my life on it that half the people in this thread have done 60 in a 30 before.

Theres a 30 road near me, very long, wide road, no houses at all on any of it must be about 30ft of grass either side all the way along it but its still a 30 i never tend to exceed 80mph on it

Well he said he done 66 in a industrial estate, with no one around, what that crime of the century?

If he was doin 66 in a built up area even in the middle of the night,i would of called him all the cunts going.

But an empty industraial estate, who wouldnt put their foot down?

it totally depends on the road too tbh, although some think it doesnt..

some 30 roads i wouldnt even think bout doing 35/40 at anytime, yet others like the one i was caught on are such that you could do up to 80+

there is a big industrial estate I go through on the way to my GF's, but open roads designed for trucks, etc. that is a 30 zone. That has people and slow moving trucks around at all hours as most the factories dont shut.

well this one was quiet apart from 2 cars i went past, no pedestians or anything, hence why i did that speed and not 30-40!

Thats fine, but Im the one who can drive my car legally as Im not banned

And Im not saying if you do 30 you wont kill someone, but there is more chance if your doing 60+ of killing them than at 30 as your reaction time will be ALOT less.
