yeah 880 is a lot but what can I expect? I live near the capital and it's a popular area. Close to about 5 train stations and 2 major shopping centres.

some 1 bed flats are like 130k

Half decent house is around £140k with a garden.

I like that flat, pretty nice.. Seems like its right in Southend though which is a bit of a mission getting to work

It is gunna take me 35 minutes to get to work now

But i had to choose between living in a poxy 1 bed or studio flat in Newport near work, or going to Pontypool and having a 3 bed house with a garage and garden but having a longer drive to work!

Hmmm ....

This is my house -

Needs work but has lots of space and potential!

Bad point is bathroom is downstairs as its one of the old miners houses, but livable and can be moved upstairs eventually!

Oh lord i hate it

Ive spoken to my mum and there are things im going to change, steps down to be changed as they are brick and id like the bit before the steps to be like a patio with a dining set etc

Garage to be rebuild and garden to be vamped up

So many plans .... so little money

Loft is purfect for a conversion, high roof and spacious but thats money

master bedroom is huge and other rooms are good sizes... kitchen is in desperate need of replacing as well!

it's all stuff that can be done slowly which is a bonus. As long as the place is liveable you'll be fine
