Nice to see the guy who, according to the fa report, wouldnt repeat the N word used as he claimed he never said it in his life and doesn't like the word. So only Suarez is a liar

Evra evidence not inconsistent?

Also I understand Evra's evidence was given whilst WATCHING the video back. Suarez gave his evidence without watching the video simply as he recalled it.

FA are corrupt useless cunts.

If Terrys story is backed uP by the facts he will be found not guilty and get no ban at all - If he did say what is alleged it will be a long ban.

Pretty interesting situation Liverpool have got themselves into with what appears to be a fan racially abusing an opposition player last night. Any life time ban for a fan for using racially motivated language would look very hypocritical seeing as the club backed Suarez when he used a racist word directed at another player.

I know there is a lot of investigation to do to find out exactly what was said but there can be little other explanation for it IMO other than racial abuse

Dont really see what difference that link makes.....Hadnt even realised there was a false story that someone had been arrested?

I was referring to the fact a black player was in tears at what appeared to be abuse from someone in the crowd and both clubs are looking into it. I assume they will try and find any fan who has done this ...then what? Gonna be hard to take action against anyone who uses racial abuse in Anfield from now on ..home or away fans.

This is the problem when you try and protect a guilty player against overwhelming evidence

Dont you mean racial abuse? You said already there is pretty much no other explanation. Dont sit on the fence now.

Unless they knew something intimate about that players background ... I cant see any other explanaition for something upsetting him that much.

The comments made by his own manager allude to racial abuse

fair play to the lad though ... what ever was said to him he responded in a better manner than Suarez did when called a cheat by Fulham fans.

BTW i dont actually GAF about what happens in this case, i dont support or care for Liverpool, just thought it best to not jump to conclusions.

The player could just be an absoloute fanny for instance, or he misheard?

from reading what his manager and captain has said about him ...,that kind of reaction is out of character

I do accept he could have misheard something .... or been confused by cultural differences or something

This culteral differences card is going to get thrown way out of proportion by players before long.

So - man arrested for alleged racial abuse.

Liverpool and their manager have a lot to answer for here - they have whipped theirs fans up into a frenzy over this issue and this is the logical result.

We have seen it on here with some of the comments liverpool fans have made about Evra - hoping he dies, hoping his legs are broken, racially abusing him ect ec. Dalglish and the club have convinced the fans that some massive conspiracy has it in for Liverpool ...the truth is that the independent enquiry is a now going to be used as a template for how to handle this kind of incident. It is being lorded by most Europeon and world organisations, as well as anti racism groups as a textbook and fair approach to dealing with an abuse claim of this nature.

Fair play to the FA - they have handled this extremely well - and they havnt even reacted to the ludicrous and unfounded accusations that Liverpool and Dalglish have thrown at them from the very start, and that they have continued to slander the FA with after the report was published.

The club is now a laughing stock - personally I think the FA should level further charges at the club of bringing the game into disrepute over their handling of this issue. Its going to be interesting watching Liverpool deal with this fan if racist abuse was thrown at an opposition player .... what if the fans family and friends claim he is not a racist, and he has some black friends who say the same .... gonna be hard for the club to ban him for life without looking very hypocritical.

I do strongly agree that the way Liverpool have behaved over this does encourage this type of behaviour from the fans
