Fuck me JJ.Its all doom and gloom isn't it!!!

The PL has many things wrong but also many things right.

I agree though that the football model over in Germany seems spot on.

Don't like the Germans or Chelsea so won't be rooting for either of them Honestly thought it would of been a Real Madrid vs Barcelona Final instead of this crap.

Same. I thought it would have been a match between them both. Changes things a bit and its no longer as bigger spectacle imho.

It'll still be a fucking brilliant game? Bayern are a joy to watch! Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Robben, Ribery and Gomez are a frightening attacking force.

I didnt see anything spectacular from either team last night, first half i thought madrid were going to blitz it, second half both teams obviously closed up as they didnt want to concede, bunch of awful pens that was about it, nothing that you dont see from top teams in the prem tbh. Although I think a few key players werent on it for munich, Lahm was pretty bad last night

I still think Bayern will win though they have a fantastic line up of players, but i wouldnt rule chelsea out just yet after what I saw last night

A bunch of awful penalties? I'd say a couple of great saves from the worlds' finest pair of goalkeepers?

no they were awful eck, i would say neuers first save was a good save but the pen still wasnt brilliant, the second one was so far inside the bottom corner he actually dived too far. Casillas just had to stand there and stick a hand up for one

the rest speak for themselves

awful penalties - Ronaldos penalty would have beaten 8/10 keepers as would Kaka's

it was hit far inside the post, neuer had to actually move his hand inside as he dived too far

any penalty save is a good save but the pens were not great

Kroos penalty was even worse, tried to pass it at some stupid slow pace easy save for any keeper going the correct way

What a joke. Far to leniant on players when it comes to this.

Also dont like this "if you get a booking in the quarters and one in the semis then you should still be allowed to play in the final". Erm, no? Why should it be any different? The rules say, 2 bookings and you miss a game. The final is a game as much as the rest of the competition is.

I kind of think the yellow card suspensions should be dropped for a final where as reds should be upheld.

I dont see why rules should be different from one game to the next in the same competition. To me thats taking away the integrity of it all. Its part of the game, if you got booked in the quarters then you just have to be careful in the semis.

I just dont see how in the group stages one team can be at a dis-advantage because you have a player missing through suspension but for the final this doesnt apply?

Is it going to start happening in the league where you cant miss the last game of the season if its a title/relegation decider?

Agree with that. For next season, is a bit silly that they ban players for what should be the showpiece event of Europe. But they all knew the rules for this season. Is their own fault of they miss out.

They should have an amnesty when the knockout stages start, which I dont think they do at the moment. Otherwise players are getting punished for something that happened 9 months ago.

Anyone seen the random Geoff Shreeve "quotes"?

One to Shaun Wright-phillips... "shaun, cracking match, did you know that you were adopted?"
For Ched Evans, "Ched, did you know you've got 4 years, 360 days left in here?"
