custom cages need welding, cutting, and TOOLS, its a right puzzle believe! fast-as-u-can has one and I think AdamF's is one too or he may have changed his?

Cheap though, 370 for a full fuckmesuckme cage for the Astra.

Thank willay

Been chatting to adamf.. top bloke.. he's got the 16 point sparco bolt in and explained how to work around the sunroof. Just waiting on some piccy's.

But cheers mate.. I want to try and avoid a weld in as painting and fitting is abit of an issue with lack of tools and knowledge.

the sparco and custom cages are roughly the same cage with a couple of extra bars to bulkhead and the rear exhaust tunnel bar is different.

sounds to me like you have 3 options here.

1) (expensive) get a custom cages, harry hoclky etc weld together cage, weld or get some to weld the rear hoop together and in to the car, then go to here: http://www.ybracing.co.uk/page1.php?sitepage=3&subarea=250
and buy enough joints and connectors to weld in to the front bars so you can bolt it to the rear half inc door bars.

benefits of this way are that you weld the bars on to the hoop so you can cut enough off the bottom of the main hoop so that it fits with the sunroof then weld the bars where they need to go after.

http://www.customcages.co.uk/Rollcage/LoadRollCage.castle?manufacturer=Vauxhall&model=Corsa%20B&type=Multipoint

2) as i have done it with the sparco 16 point one which as per u2u a will get you pics later

3) buy a 6 point omp one as iam sure they fit in front of the dash, then go to custom cages or any metal works really and buy some 40mm tube and make the extra bars yourself (will still have a sunroof issue though)

imho its all about budget as everything is and how you want it to look. the first too options are really meant for cars completely stripped so having it normal requires patience and work but it can be done.

Mines an OMP one and I also managed to get around the sunroof dilemma,
I did a GUIDE in the tutorials section explaining how I did it. Not the best guide because it was done months after I did it lol but you get the idea.
