Toxology reports won't be back for 2 weeks but it seems unsual for them to speculate on offical websites.

He sent txt messages to wwe officials that he wouldn't be able to take part at a ppv due to 'personal reasons' and there was also a reported stench of decomposing bodies on the Monday which wouldn't have been there if there hadn't been dead bodies lying for a longer period of time.

Now pretty much official he killed them both then himself

' At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday. '

When someone eventually manages to get a documentary about wrestling and it's dark side it will be explosive, i guarantee they'll shut the wwe down.

TBH though they get paid enough to do an undesirable job 9travel a lot and genuinely get hurt) so its not like they are forced into anything they shouldnt be doing.

It's not even that they all shag each other birds use illegal substances willy nilly, and there's even times when there's wrestlers going at it for real in the ring.

Then you have stunts like the Owen Hart accident, which wasn't ever a properly supervised stunt the guy gets killed then they have a show the next day and continue as if nothing happened

How do they get away with it?

The first part is nothing to do with WWE though, they arent forced to shag each others birds, and to a lesser extent take illegal substances!

The Hart thing (along with a few other accidents) was a dodgey one, but its not like it wouldnt of been investigated.

Yeah i know and recently they have brought in random drug testing, you just wonder to yourself how they get away with it, there's more deaths culminated from 'fake' wrestling than there is from ultimate fighting, boxing and every martial art put together, strange.

Heard about this before, bit of a strange do. Also about Vince, my mate was telling me the other day saying it was real that he was dead because Steph and his son were in the ring crying about it I tried to point out they are actors but he was adament because they were on tv crying its true.

Big shame though, his life must have been pretty fucked.

Breaking News Coverage: Shocking Grim Details Revealed In Benoit Tragedy
Written by Richard Gray on 6.26.2007 @ 15 PM

Grim details have been made available regarding the Benoit family tragedy. According to Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com, authorities believe that Chris Benoit strangled his wife Nancy on Saturday then either strangled or smothered his son in his bed on Sunday. According to reports, Benoit then hung himself on Monday in his weight room of his Georgia home.

According to an article on TMZ.com, one source told them that Benoit was text messaging friends during the airing of WWE’s Vengeance PPV this past Sunday and was possibly watching the show with his son Daniel, indicating that he may have been alive at the time.

--

In addition to WWE pulling their Chris Benoit merchandise from their ShopZone web site and his profile page, the front page of WWE.com is no longer a tribute to him. Pretty much all that remains on WWE.com are the grim details of the Benoit family tragedy that were reported through an earlier report by the Associated Press.

WWE.com posted several photos and videos of him last night, making a rather large tribute section to Chris Benoit, which has since been pulled. The company also posted videos of wrestlers remembering Benoit, but have removed them as well. The front page graphic of Benoit has also been removed from the RAW and ECW sections, however, the story of last night’s RAW show still remains in the results section.

--

While updating their coverage of the Benoit family tragedy, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution has posted a report that Nancy Benoit filed for divorce and an order of protection from Chris Benoit in May 2003.

Nancy Benoit alleged in the divorce petition that Chris, "lost his temper and threatened to strike the petitioner and cause extensive damage to the home and personal belongings of the parties, including furniture and furnishings. Petitioner is in reasonable fear for petitioner's own safety and that of the minor child."

This prompted the judge to issue a restraining order on Chris Benoit from entering their family home. His wife Nancy requested that the petition be dismissed. The couple later reconciled and celebrated Benoit’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship win at WrestleMania 20 in the ring together.

I did find it strange as to why so many posted tributes to him on SSN etc, I mean it was pretty obvious he murderd his wife and son, obviously the nutter was gone in the head.
