Its alot like XP interface wise. The menus have changed abit and theres transparency, thats it. Not exactly 3.1 to 95 changes here or anything. There more underlying changes but even those arent the end of the world either.

They can't change things too much or the majority of idiots who use pc's will be lost.

You still need to have a common interface.

This doesn't mean its not different.

it isnt for the majority of users, if you gave the two os's to somebody who was new to computers, they wouldnt be able to tell you the differences other than vista is prettier.

It's different and it works fine for me.

Whoever asked this question. Did you do a system compatibility test before installing Vista?

i like it tbh, if i could be arsed to format again i'd reinstall it, but im in no hurry, need to upgrade my pc first without gf noticing :X

the menu layouts may not have changed, but the engine behind what draws them is completely different
