Funny that, ive just been on the vuxhall website and found that the 1.3 td corsa has 70bhp, does 0-60 in 13.5 and tops out at 102mph, the 1.2 16v on the otherhand has 75bhp does 0-60 in 12 and tops out at 106mph, ths proves nither are rapid and that u talk shit.

yeah ure right. but ive got a cone on and the boost pressure switch has a variable resistor what i can control, so i can fool the ecu into thinking the manifold absolute pressure is high, therefore more boost.

no not yet but on the tech 2 at work at 4500 rpm i recorded a snapshot and the boost pressure was running high and every time u back off the throttle the wastegate is going 'tssshh'. i understand u dont believe me bit iv driven em both and although i can only get 100 out of it i know it gets there quicker than my 1.2 did.

thats like saying the lotus carlton isnt rapid compared to a McLaren F1

However, it looks nice, although i would have gone for something with abit more grunt, but looks good

Oh, i think the word everyone is looking for is nippy the 1.3TD will be nippy, infact my 1.2 is nippy...but its far from rapid

lets face it youve got a shit slow car and so have I(not for much longer), and so have all the other 1.0/1.2 corsa owners.

There is absolutely no point in tuning it what so ever, and certainly no point in arguing that it is or isnt rapid against a 1.2?

Either swap the engine, change the car or be content in the knowledge every other car on the road can murder you
