where is that mate the write up on the drag astra?, hopefully get it in the next 2 weeks , but still got a few other bits like some road tyres, oil coolant, tax and mot to buy before its back on the road to run back in

did do buy it wasent 100% straight so was throwing the belt of at high rpm so back to a standard one and its worked fine since

Yea mate the Astra write up. Good luck driving that thing on road ha. Can't wait to see it back to its best.

gave the rocker cover a flat and polish the othersay after the paint had been left to harden, didnt turn out so bad for the first time ive done it





also got a plug cover today of a mate so set about modding it to fit







still undecided weather to get one made in carbon or polish this one up to a mirror finish like my boost pipes/inlet im thinking polished will look better

Polished would work well now...

Carbon would have worked better with the old front end IMO.

a bit of me does as it would of been easier but i like the fact there arnt hundreds running my power like there are for hondas and i do like having to work through the problems im finding with pushing the power

The only thing with the polished one is you will see where that weld is will you not? Looks good mate

What about blue to go with the hoses, or maybe anthracite? It might look nice with some shiny paint.

had a custom clutch made for the car that can take the power , there are cars running this clutch at 850bhp and still going strong so should let me go more power in future , anyone interested in one with the flywheel msg me as i can get best price on these now

hope that clutch works out for you... an old mate had one very similar on a tuned itb'd c20xe and it seemed a bit too sharp... struggled to get a good launch with it
