A few bits done today so may aswel update:

When i started, i was frustrated, so to cure it i contributed to rat look :

Anyway, now the serious:

New wheels on:

Will get better pics soon when car is fully out of garage!

Cage fitted, ready for fabricating on tuesday next week when my mate gets his new big arse welder:

Morettes keyed up and primed a few times, ready for black paint later tonight:

Light wiring sorted out, ready for morettes and to extend the indicator down to the GSI gof lights when the bumper is back / carbon bumper is here from performance trim:

Haha:

And biggest move yet, removed the magic tree and tax disc:

Is Mark/Broster/Jam-Sport are true to their word, all the conversion and rebuild bits will be with me tommorow. Need to keep my fingers crossed though

Hold up with the engine work, waiting on Dan to get some more free time!

Waiting on AG to get back about fibreglass bonnet!

Im not sure if the amber indicator bulbs in the fog lights will be bright enough in the daylight. So may have to order some of these which should be:

http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/581-360-degree-amber-bulb-pair-c-w-resistors-pr-16689.html

Im gonna test tommorow. And see!

Great progress dan, i hope you remember it needs an mot

Im finished on my course now, so i can do a bit next week before work. Want to try get the head all washed out etc and done, then it leaves the block to strip and rebuild again.

Then its on with compression test/ playdough test etc etc

Then its nearly done It might get fitted in next month or 3, wont be running, but once we have the tbs it will be nearly finished

I have been told that the conversion parts and fitting kit will be here 100% today.

Not the first time i have been told this, but fingers crossed once again.

Also, massive welder and gas bottle coming today too, along with loads of 3mm steel plate and some lengths of T45!

Bonnet will be collected from AG Motorsport on Saturday, Will be taking a trip to DaveA's VSport to collect SBD type 4-2-1 manifold while i am up that way (ish) too!

to be fair these came direct from supplier, doldy has been texting me and sending me u2u's on here to find out where products are, unfortunatly the best way to contact me is via the main phone number 01604 755529 i have made him aware of this

you say the front gear box mount is missing? you use the standard corsa mount for that.

Just chased the ARB lowering brackets now not sure whats happened there

you dont need the PAS mount, ill cross this off the record now.

I didn't package the kit, i had it direct from supplier, i do apologise if stuff isn't in there, this is for me to chase up and i am doing, best thing to do is call and you will get a faster responce, for example i have been in a meeting from 9 till 11.10 i get out to find 4 text message from you ,if you rang the office you would be able to say whats missing and be told i am in a meeting.

Thanks for sorting it, please refund the PAS bracket as soon as you can.

You make it out like i flooded you out with texts and U2U's lol, i sent 2 after you replied to my first one, and that was becuase i missed something off the first text..... anyway!

I appreciate you will sort it out, just dont want to be waiting and waiting again. I work in mail order so i know how things work.

Mark has sorted it all now, The Lowering blocks have been sent 1st class direct to me from "the supplier". They should come tommorow!

Have just found and printed a home made "X14XE engine removal guide" which is for my model with the air-con and PAS and all that. I cant find the website again now though as it missed off half the last page!

Maybe, i may try and tackle some removal tonight!
