How is that a great piece?  Justifying the outrageously over inflated transfer fee because of three players United bought at the cheap end of the market? Whatever way you look at it, £49m is absolutely ridiculous. He has potential, but there are far better youngsters out there who could have been had for that cash.

LVG gave him his debut for Barca. But he's said that VV doesn't fit in with the philosophy due to not wanting to be understudy.

I'm guessing LVG has told him he'll be seeking a new number 1 if DDG goes. That'll be a kick in the stones.
Fellaini was outrageously expensive, but he's actually playing wel under LVG
Evans out will surely signal more than one CB incoming. United are seemingly about to raise their bid to €60 for Ramos. If they bring in Otamendi too it will be some transfer window.

What a shame. I've lost a lot of respect for Delph today. 8m is a steal but I feel it's the wrong move after just breaking into the England first team. Poor mans wilshere anyway

Interesting. Looks like LVG really is aiming to use Depay up top.
Edit: for the record, I think Pedro is a fantastic player. Hugely underrated in that Barca squad.
