not at the minute Daine, i think thats about it for spending at the moment need to concentrate on xmas now, plus have a packed out weekend, sister had a little boy on the 12th so going to visit him tonight, then out shopping for presents saturday and then followed by a huge arse piss up in northampton saturday night, sunday i should be curled up hungover like a good'un

then the weekend after its xmas, dont work on the car during the week as it lives at mum and dads, might have to put a cover over it and leave it for a bit as its too shit weather wise right now

thanks mate, good to know iv inspired someone, it was the 2 lads with the purple corsa that used to run 11's at the pod that made me decide to build mine

get on the look out for a cheap one mate, bound to be a few around these days going for peanuts

as for mine its not even the new year looks as if i have sourced a new exhaust that wont bottom out off someone on here

hope to get that in Jan lol really should stop buying parts on a whim haha, hopefully i will just concentrate on getting these bits fitted and sorted first then after a bit more saving will start at looking in boosting the power a little bit

so list of parts to fit

2x Cobra Bucket seats (still on the lookout for subframes for them though)
1x Rollcage (and paint it of course)
1x XE exhaust (this ones closer to the body and doesnt bottom out like the current one)
- finish the cold air feed headlight and fit that

think that should keep me busy early part of the year at least

Decided to refurbish the morettes today, first step strip em apart

Although I think this is a form of sidelight? Hmm will have to figure out how to wire this up as there was not plug for it on the headlight looms

Reason why I decided to refurb them, stone chipped to fuck

Both the top lugs had splits in, job for me in a bit

Got to work and started prepping the outer covers

Halfway through prep drilled a hole at the end of the crack to stop it spreading and nicked some plastic bond from work seal up the splits

Heated out a trench on the back of the splits for the sealer to go in

Both prepped for paint

Driver side done

Pretty happy with it, soz for the shit pics, was getting late although passenger side had a reaction, wil have to rub that down and do it again in the morning their i have time whack em' on but have to be gone by 3 for a mates birthday (and I want a lye-in as we'll haha)

Look better now, u should black mesh the 'holes' where the indicators are, u will still be able to see it flashing but will cover the gaps and also stop crap flying into the bay??
