I'm looking forward to seeing how good the camera is. I was tempted to buy a point and shoot, but the stuff on the Apple website looks good enough for what I need. Will be interesting to see what it's like in real life

My mates had his blackberry for 2 months on a new contract, he's that sick of how slow it goes the more he uses it and it keep freezing that hes getting an iPhone 4 and paying two contracts

I genuinely think it does depend what Blackberry you have - mines a bit older now it's a Bold 9000 but a mates Bold 9700 seems as good. Never had any issues with it slowing down or freezing. Others with lesser ones like Storms etc have. OR myself and my mate may just be lucky and have good ones

I'll be sticking with Blackberry Bolds when I upgrade / change

Ive just checked again and its now offering £247, which makes me think as people jump on the bandwagoon and inundate them with 3G's and 3GS's, the price will be dropping!

I said this earlier.

As soon as the new one is released/pre-order the prices will drop like a stone.

They will drop but i cant see a 3GS 32Gb going under the £200 mark, but even if it does i dont mind if i get £170+ for it.

Doubt the 3GS will drop much - even now the 3G is less than £50 off the cost of the 3GS and its a year on.

Not really seeing the reason to upgrade tbh. I'll stick to the 3GS.

I currently have the 3G and contract is up in July.

I was looking at Sony Erricson phones as I wanted a decent camera and HD video recording.

I wonder if the camera hardware is actually any good? If it is I will probably go for it as it has the features I want that my 3G is lacking.

Quite a good full on guide to the phone, worth the read.

Yes, you can install the golden version of OS4 (effectively end release candidate).
However, in the past apple have locked any devices using beta version of the OS, I would personally be very hesitant about trying this.

Given that the software is only weeks away, I would stay clear myself.

Pretty sure it's a Safari issue.
Sends my fans into crazy mode.

This thread takes ages to load:

I have Firefox and Chrome but still love Safari regardless.

Ah, I use Firefox so maybe why I have no issue - only thing that slows that page loading is my net connection as its the same if I used a windows PC.
