quick update.

had a few issues trying to get my alloys off the change my shocks, snapped 2 vauxhall locking wheel nut keys (£28 each & a nightmare to order) managed to undo with the 3rd moral of the story .. dont let garages over tighten wheel bolts.

have changed my front shocks as thery were completly shot, bought a set off little Duke

also have started to fit the colour coded handles, have done the back doors but havent got round to doing the front yet.

rat look

after getting fed up with the scratches and curb marks on my alloys, i decided i'd re-furb them. i spent and hour or so each night this week so the wheels would be ready to spray when we had a bit of good weather.
as it was a nice warm day yesterday i thought i'd get started.

started by rubbing the alloys down & filling any imperfections

prepped & masked up the alloy

used a coat of etch primer so the paint will stick to the alloy

once i was happy with the prep, we started spraying the first one up

And a coat of laquer

the finished products need to clean up the tyres as they are covered in dust but im v pleased with the result.

Almost ready for Trax

Thanks for the comments lads.

lol just about everyone has mentioned the height i know its not the lowest car here but i think the -30mm eibach's will be staying as i need practicality over looks. I know some of you will hate me for it but i cant do with scraping exhausts, dodging pot holes & all the other problems lowering can bring

Scotty: would be nice that, would love an engine conversion .. i just cant afford it atm .. doh
