the thing is a standard corsa XE is about the same as a standard VTS/106GTI and there are far more VTS's than corsa XE's

standard GTis and VTS's are nowhere near as quick as Corsas with standard XEs

yes they are you fool, std vts/gti's do on average mid 15's standing quarter which is roughly the same for a std XE on average

my mate has a standard 106 GTi. one of his other mates also had a XE Corsa. engine was standard. absolutely no match for it on a straight bit of road

but actually your talking about quarter mile from a standing start so you might be right in that instance

they will have a slight advantage on a rolling start at say 80, but anything else there wont be anything in it

i tried against a nova and there wasnt that much in it really, so im asuming a corsa would be about equall

Not a chance in hell, even a 1.6 pushing 130bhp+ will struggle with a VTS
