Ran a 6.59 at 220mph at The Main Event this weekend, which is an FIA event, making it all official and that.

That means that it's the fastest, and quickest road legal car in the world as of today.

This is a run from earlier, which up until the 6.59 run, was still a world record!

Second gear launches too, they reckon there's more to come.

Time slip picture here for the record run - http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=47&t=845887&mid=0&i=3580&nmt=Redvictor+3&mid=0

You wouldn't do the weekly shop in a CLK-GTR, but it's road legal

It's also the only road legal car in the world which complies with the FIA Pro Mod regulations!

Obviously, I just think that something you can use day in day out is more suited to the road legal tag if you know what I mean.

I can't see that particular setup being road legal. He must have different wheels & tyres for the road..

Ive just had a quick read of the thread on Pistonheads, and the owner does say he needs to change the wheels/tyres and remove the wheelie bar to make it street legal.

so it's not road legal then is it? you can drive around the streets with no exhaust and slick tyres but get pulled and you're fucked.

this guy would be too.

It might not be legal when it does the run but swap the wheels and it's legal again, not like it's a massive job to change it is it?
