have been offered a px against my corsa turbo just wanting to know peoples views on them?

Good points: I own 1, Zlet block can take 450bhp
Bad points: Turbos are crap.

just read his post on piston heads, and found out the gearbox has gone, he didnt email me that. hmm... is it still worth it?

Boxes are easy to get.
Could also put in a VXR M32 box for 6speed about 1k to convert.

f23 - dont the newer diesel corsas use the same box?
Nyrox - urs is the black one. I was chattin to you at mfn couple of weeks ago (im 'r44 mnt''s mate). And the other lad i was with has a black GSI now also.

Depends on the mileage, condition and colour tbh. But it will be worth more than your corsa and be easier to sell.

Not long since I bought mine, agree with the turbo issue and agree with DizzyRebel
I looked at 2 before my current one and they where both dogs, bodywork was shocking, engine really not cared for, so just be careful, the previous 2 I looked at where both from garages, I ended up going privately and IMO got the best one for my money.

If he wants to swap it for a corsa and hasn't mentioned the gear box is dead it doesn't take a genius to work out the rest of the car will be a wreck.

he only sent me an email asking if i was interested them i found it on piston heads. looks quite nice

the astra 2.2 coupe has starter on front of the block, the vectras mount is in the wrong place. but if you was intrested i have one for sale with brand new clutch for £100 out of a GSi aswell

as scott said the f23 comes in various forms as i had a fair bit of trouble finding one for my old gsi when it went broke,
