Well Ive settled on a new car and will be going down the MK4 Astra Gsi route for my own reasons.
Just really stuck on the colour, its between black and Arden Blue.

Here's a few pictures to give you some idea's:



And am I right in thinking that there where different shades of arden blue?
Im sure that there where a couple of different shades used on the Corsa B's but not sure if different shades where used on the MK4 Astra?

I say black.

Arden Blue is very common on the GSi.

Definitely Arden Blue, the GSi looks best in it imo.

Iirc they made it a bit darker when they brought the GSi out or something.

I do love the Arden Blue colour, but just really prefer the black.

Last thing I want to do is buy a black one and then see an Arden Blue one and prefer it

If you prefer black then get black It's a really nice colour with a little bit of flake, it's just that personally if it was a GSi I'd go with blue. Otherwise it'd have to be black or red.

imo arden looks the tits but is common as muck


Black looks nice polished up but dosent really stand out as anything special

Think Im settled with black tbh, althought white would look but don't really want to pay £5-6k for a new car and paint it straight away

Buy a rough one thats good mechanically and have it painted white then.. Probably end up around the same sort of money.
