...and it paid off (i think!)

I was SICK of buying back to black, shoe polish etc so I bought some black spray and some plastic primer and sprayed my arches and bumpers black so I wont have to mess about again!

Here's the results:







Look ok? too black??

Yeah, would of protected the paint. Dont spill any petrol on it either, else it will all run

Also; I dont plan on jetwashing it ever again. haha.

Make sure you warm the can first, else it will go white.

Like i said, seal the leak, if not, the speakers will blow.

Putting it on a radiator also works, or heat the can with a heatgun/hairdryer.

the cosmetic modification, could increase the risk of theft of the vehicle as it looks more attractive to theives,

If you crash or the car is stolen your insurance will be void

Come to think of it... I put a new magic tree on my rear-view mirror the other day, it was a coconut one! It's the nicest smelling one and it's not in all the shops so I could probably understand if somebady was to break in and take it. Ill be on the phone first thing in the morning to report that...

Did you take them off to paint?
I used to have the same prob, but i had my bumpers and arches colour coded. Need to get them redone.

yeah i did the boot handle, was my "tester" to see how well the colour matched and how well I could spray.

In the end the colour match wasn't great, so I decided on the black instead.

eh no insurance company will know that there's paint on the archs. it's not shiny and just looks like new arches and bumper tops
