Hi guys, ive recently decided to do a few exterior mods to my car to make it luk a lil more pleasing on the eye. Just wandering what is the most effective way to remove the badges on a black car?? Also what sort of things do you guys recommend apart from rear lights, exhaust and wheels?

Hi and welcome to CS

Usually whenever i've removed badges from a car, i've used a hairdyer to warm up the glue removed then used a solvent to get rid of the glue that's left, and cleaned it up. Then used T-cut. Sounds Ghetto but it's always worked for me

Oh well, least you know what to do after you have removed the badges

To be honest after wheels, lowering and an exhuast there isn't much to do depending on what your personal preference is..

You Could:

1. Stick on a body kit.
2. Add some Mega Ice.
3. Tamper with the Engine.
4. Interior.
5. Do them all....

hello

post some pics so we get an idea of what your cars like so far.

It depends on how much your willing to spend and what look you want to achieve but i would browse the project threads and galleries to get idea's for yours, thats what i did and i soon made a big list of stuff i wanted.

i wouldnt fit a bodykit tbh, unless it was a decent subtle one, such as the gsi kit, irmscher or steinmetz.
But there all abit rare and exspensive.

But its really down to your tastes at the end of the day

i used boiling water from the kettle and my club nokia card then just tcut where they had been, i found that if you start at one edge and slowly pour the water just infront of your fingers and peel they come of a treat
