I've neglected to get involved as I did think this was not Off Day nobhead what did you have for breakfast talk and my intention for this forum was that although not about cars the conversation would still be substantial and polite. Perhaps more importantly than elsewhere, contributions to threads must be factually accurate and presented with fair justification and reason. Unjustified abuse is not welcome, particularly if the only reason for that abuse is someones preference regarding their games console.
Sadly things are not currently OK, particularly after complaints from a growing number of people. I don't want to unpick it all, and I've no plan to if it stops.

I'm not interested in bickering and he said this so I said this crap. If it doesn't stop and I have to spend time dealing with it then bans will result. I simply cannot afford the time wasted sorting out, and that includes finding staff for in here.

jules, stop crying. you obviously come into gd enough to notice 1/50 threads is a console related thread. the whole proving topshop wrong has died down now anyway.
i can't believe you think this is such a big thing. go through all the gd threads from the start of jan to now and find the ratio of console (flamed) threads to everything else. i'm guessing its a 5% ratio. its frusting reading comments like this. petty little things that you just have to complain about.
if you see a console related thread, your gonna have to assume theres different opinions. its a public forum after all.

its annoying if a post about something to do with a ps3, or a 360 gets turned into a Vs thread or slagging match within the first few posts.
however i dont mind a decent debate thats points out both consoles strengths and weaknesses.
mainly i still stand by what i quoted from rus though, i really think its making a mountain out of a mole hill
