Bought my first flat about 6 months ago now, still got a few things to do around the place, but most of the work is done. No pics of kitchen or bathroom as camera battery died and the chargers went missing in the move

New bathroom and kitchen will come at some point as they are a bit dated, but okay for the moment.

Lovely, how many bedrooms?
How much did it set you back?
Would be about £200k around my way if its a 2 bed.

Really nice mate, love the whole minimalist look with no clutter. Thats what I'm aiming for at mine but still need to sort out a bit more storage and definately a shed

Some 1 bedroom places in Glasgow are 200k!
Depends on the area really. I'm in a nice area of a small town outside Glasgow, so prices arent that bad.

The sofas are very comfy once your on them. Hard to get on and off off though, ha ha.
I thought that too about the TV, but even after having the heating on full all day, the TV never heated up at all.

Its the same throughout the flat. Can;t remember the name of it, but everyone seems to like it as its a bit different.

Yeah i fitted it myself, with a hand from a mate as it was a bit akward to mount it to the frame.
That wall is plasterboard, so i just cut a hole behind where the TV would sit, and a hole at the bottom of the wall and fed the wires through. No trough in the wall needed, so no re-plastering. Surprisingly easy, it looks tiny in the pic but its actuall a 27" HD LCD and the picture quality is brilliant.
The living room is a 37" Plasma.

Looks nice
I really need to get our wires behind our wall, but the tv is too heavy for me to lift off by myself and Adam always manages to get out of doing it when he's home.

Yeah i bought it on my own. Saved like a demon for 2 years whilst staying at home and put down 25% deposit, helped a lot with the mortgage. Plus ive chnaged jobs recently too, which helped.
