well the car is going into wallace performance on wednesday to get the unichip fitted. have a guess at what it is

here is the spec

polished and ported head (skimmed 3 times for higher compression)
mantzel inlet
enlarged throttle body
pro-tech manifold
268 shrick cams
full system exhaust
decat
k&n filterht
10mm silicone ht leads
sbd rollers
arp rod bolts
new plugs,radiator, vlaves,gaskets, head bolts,timing belt,water pump, oil filter,

oh and dont forget the dasket unichip.

there might be more bits but i cant remember, i also no that i not all the bits will add bhp but it will just give you an idea of the condition of the engine.

what do you mean no? you obviously dont know much about the small block xe's... read my post in this thread both mine and my friends c16xe made 138bhp/145bhp, on std mapping and mainly just exhaust/256cams/inlet. http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=315748

l30 you want rev limit either 7500rpm or 8000rpm, and we'll see what power shows up on wednesday... i have seen a c16xe with mantzel, filter, exhaust system, manifold and few other small bits but retaining std head and cams showing 161bhp!!!

161bhp?

why bother with throttle bodies and headwork when you can just have bolt on bits?

some ppl will remember, quite a while ago in total vauxhall mag, a purple corsa gsi body kit, discs all round, had a mantzel chipped ect, it was the one which pipercross used to design their induction kit, made 161bhp, dont know what rolling road was used, but even spoke to the owners boyfriend about it...
