You are doing the right thing, but id be tempted to just ask him to either not use it or pay, rather than just go in demanding pay or free stuff straight away. like ross said on there, so many people just dont understand.

the NUJ recommend you ask for a fee. they have already got free advertisment out of you so your asking for back pay

Your doing the right thing. If you give people a chance they'll just take advantage of you. Would they think it was OK if someone made a website for that guy to sell bra's off and he didnt pay them?
