It is running a SPi pump when it should have been running a MPi pump.

The pump I have is a internal pump and Vauxhall never made a internal MPi pump for the Nova.

Anyway, got a Astra GTE pump and going to Lees to have it fitted Saturday.

So if you think about it now, my fastest 1/4 mile with that pump was a 16.8 which is faster than standard Corsa GSi imagine what its gonna be like with the MPi pump

Gonna be a different car, so fast.

The pump was sold to Lee by Eddie at VPSC as a MPi pump, seeing as Lee has never done a Nova conversion before he was'nt to know and neither was I that they did'nt make a MPi internal pump for the Nova.

So we got stitched up a gooden

Mr OJC, i have to agree with Nismo here, you can't really say that the MPI pump will solve everything til it's fitted. Just don't want you to get your hopes up, and have them destroyed as the micra sails passed...

How much do you think the nova weighs Olliver?

Do you not have a ballpark figure for a quater mile time of an x16xe nova?

Not sure how much, I would say 850kg

The fastest a standard C16XE Nova 1/4 mile at the pod was 15.69, average is 15.8 - 16.1

This comes from sources on Novaload, this is how I knew straight away there was something terribly wrong with my Nova.

As for it not solving the problem it will, trust me.

The only other thing that might still cause me problems is that the SPi tank does has a smaller outlet than the GTE/GSi/SRi Nova tanks, but Lee does'nt think this will be a problem as the outlet is the same size as the fuel filter anyway.
