petrol price difference would probably add/minus a few miles

i pay 82.9p per litre for SUL overhere

i get 270 miles from £20 of optimax on my 1litre . i have an ecotek valve and k&n, cat bypass and lexmaul backbox.

junc 39 on m1 turn left towards wakefield and its right at the 3rd r bout. literally 2 min and u cant miss it

ah that why i thought they were heavier. cause my dads drive the mk3 and his is only a 1.6 (100bhp) but feels really slow!

You cant accuratly measure how many miles you do for a tenner anyway, the only way to do it is to fill it up, run it for however long, then fill it up again.

i know, but the difference can been seen in these circumstances cause before i used to get 63miles to a tenner and now i seem to be getting more

Think thats bad!

i get 60 miles if im lucky out of my 1.2 of £10!

dunno what the problem can be but its surely not right!

yea am getting 70 to 80 from an r reg 1.4 8v high tourqe just normal driving av got powerflow cat back system with dual exit twin 4inch pipes and pipercross filter. i put an ecotec valve on but just makes loads of noise so i closed it off.. surley i should be looking at 100ish i get 240 miles to £30 £90p a litre.. surley it should be more.. so looks like trying to re set ecu or new lambda sensor

so is should change my lambda sensor and coolent temp sensor.. where is this located.. and maybe try re setting my ecu? anything else to consider.. how long does the battery have to be disconnected for tyo re set ecu?

yes mate, probably either lambda or coolant temp sensor. maybe even map sensor as well, but its unlikely as these usually cayse poor engine running as well.

lambds is usualy £35 and cts sensors are about £10.
