Turbo has been put back till mid 2004. Emissions problems, suggesting that it is going to be powered by the 1.6 Turbo.

I wrote the report in fastcar this month.

The new "Twinport" technology helps the 1.4 16v go to about 49mpg as apposed to about 39mpg. This is without loosing any performance.

I expect its the same engine, since its a brand new design, and hasnt had any teethig problems. I expect vauxhall are pleased with it. No extra performance, maybe better MPG.
