need 2 run 3 LEDS off the 1 +/- cables

when i wire 2 in, only 1 works

how do i go about doing it as i need to put 2 more elsewhere?

u might need to use a relay as the alarm control box might just be outputting enough juice to power the main led.

Give it a try.

hummmmmmm so i use the power for 1 LED into a relay with a +/- for several LEDS and its basicly turning them on n off?

I did this on a mate's clifford Alarm, and have heard similar stories to mine.

The increase withdrawral of power causes more problems that u would believe. Alarm will be goin off every 2 mins as it will trigger the volatage sensor!!

In a case i read on a forum, the guy's alarm was knackered by it, and guarentee etc was coided by this.

FUCK

we used to do them at work, had 2 or 3 running off one alarm system, will have 2 find out what happened

but

very much doubt the system will be able to fault off a drop in current off an LED, as the thing is flashing all the time and they use feck all power

if something is draining the power from the battery then id understand, but ill stay away from this idea 'till i find out more

its very simple, i'd use a transistor to run the three LEDs, just need to work out protective resistors for the LEDs, and jobs done
