mines leakin near the gear box goin vaux on tuesday just hope they do it under warrenty.has any1 else had this prob??????????

no. You sure its an oil leak? or oil?

U do get a wet patch if you have Air con

Yeah, i had this problem aswell it turned out to be the seal around the crankshaft sensor, got it fixed under warranty fortunately

i think its the bottom endf near the gear box.the oil aint gear box oil coz its 2 thin. it is deffinatly a leak coz theres loads a lil patches out side my house.il find out on tuesday what it is. they best do it under warrenty coz it had a new engine 4000 miles ago coz the last 1 was bolloxed

my car is nearly 2 years old....will they do mine under warrante? mine is next to the oil sump plug i think....

Sounds like leaking from rear main oil seal - req gearbox off/clutch off/flywheel off - and a new seal fitting

Should be covered by Vx warranty as long as u have a full service history and not an opel import !!!
